Ordination Service
We are excited to ordain Aaron Ray as a minister of the Gospel at 11 AM. Ordination is for those who have answered the call to pastoral ministry. The process of ordination is another step in affirming one’s call to proclaim the Gospel, ability to equip the church, doctrine and beliefs, and maturity of the man’s relationship with Jesus. On this special Sunday we will lay hands on Aaron and be challenged as Pastor Aaron shares his first message with us from the Sermon on the Mount. Join us for a reception at 6 PM in the back Activity Building.

Legacy Five Concert
In celebrating Pastor Gary’s legacy of ministry at Lima Baptist Temple, joining us is the Southern Gospel Music group Legacy Five. Since 2000, Legacy Five has made a major mark on the Southern Gospel Music world. Audiences love their four-part harmony and their ability to effectively communicate the message of Christ. Doors open at 6 PM and the concert begins at 7 PM.

Honorary Sunday
For over fifty years, Pastor Gary has been a shining example of faith, compassion, and leadership. Join us to celebrate his legacy and express our heartfelt gratitude for his devotion to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Everyone is invited to a church wide luncheon following the service. Pulled pork along with mac and cheese will be provided. Last Name A – O bring a Salad, vegetable, or side dish. P – Z bring a dessert. Suggested serving sizes of at least 8. The kitchen will be open by 9:30 AM that day to drop your food off early if you desire.

Dedicating your child to God is a public commitment that you make before God, your church, and your family. It is an opportunity to express your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child. Vacation Bible School
Save the date. Kids will dive deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they'll experience the ever-flowing, never ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will submerge themselves in the Scriptures and uncover the true essence of the living waters through worship, interactive Bible stories, and fun games. Scuba is for kids who are 4 years old through 5th grade. Registration begins early summer.
