NEXT
NEXT is a 12 month focus that is anchored in the powerful truth that the Gospel continues to illuminate generations. We want to make sure we’re here to proclaim the Gospel well into the future in safe, functional, and distraction-free environments. Our goal is to raise $375,000 for NEXT. Prayerfully consider how you and your family can be a part of NEXT. Let’s prepare our hearts for Commitment Sunday on November 16th.
June - August
SUMMER MEAL OUTREACH
Join us every Tuesday and Thursday for a rewarding opportunity give back to the community! We are looking for two volunteers to help pass out food for just an hour and a half from 10:30 to 12:00 PM. Food will be delivered to Lima West Apartments and Maplewood Apartments, and you'll be accompanied by a member of our church team. Your support can make a difference!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Registration closes July 11; you can register at the door on Sunday evening! Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. Rainforest Falls is designed for kids who completed kindergarten through 5th grade.

MISSION FOCUS SUNDAY
Mission Focus Sunday happens every other month at 10 AM on a Sunday morning. All adult and teen groups will meet in the auditorium. This month we will have the opportunity to hear from our high school and college students that served in Puerto Rico last month. You will be encouraged as you hear their stories about how God moved in the people they served and int their own hearts.

PRAYER GATHERING
If we could see what actually happens when we pray, we would never stop praying. The first Monday of every month is a time for our church to come together and unite in prayer. We worship in song and powerfully seek God's will through prayer. We pray for each other, our church, community, country, and more. It's our prayer to desire God above all else and seek His wisdom.
August 5 & 6
ACCS OUTREACH
We are partnering with Allen County Children Services to meet the needs of those served by ACCS. We will be providing volunteers to help set up for their annual “UnGarage Sale” and work the day of the event. At this event those attending can get free clothing, free items for kids and babies, and a free meal. You can volunteer to set up and sort clothes and items on Wednesday, August 5 or volunteer to help with the event on August 6. Sign up below.

DISCOVERING MEMBERSHIP
Is God calling you to more? We want you to be a part of Lima Baptist Temple so that together we can go, serve, love and make an impact on the Lima community. At this one day class you will learn what we believe, what does it mean to be a church member, and how we can use our spiritual gifts to serve each other and our community.
