NEXT
NEXT is a 12 month focus that is anchored in the powerful truth that the Gospel continues to illuminate generations. We want to make sure we’re here to proclaim the Gospel well into the future in safe, functional, and distraction-free environments. Our goal is to raise $375,000 for NEXT. Prayerfully consider how you and your family can be a part of NEXT. Let’s prepare our hearts for Commitment Sunday on November 16th.

Mission Focus Sunday
Missions Focus Sunday happens every other month at 10
AM on a Sunday morning. All adult and teen groups will meet in the auditorium. This is your chance to hear from our missionaries and the impact they have around the world. This month we will have the opportunity to hear from Tina Curby.

Annual Business Meeting
Join us after the Worship Service for our annual business meeting. We will look back on all that God did in and through Lima Baptist Temple in 2025 and anticipate all that He will do as all of us Go, Serve, and Love. This is also the meeting where we will vote on the deacons joining our team and review the 2025 financial reports.

Abide: Rooted In Rest
Women join us for Abide, a time set apart to slow down, fellowship, and rest in God’s presence. We’ll spend some uninterrupted time alone with God, fellowship and share lunch together. Come as you are and make space to ABIDE in Him. Doors will open at 8:30 am for coffee, light refreshments before beginning at 9:00 AM.

Prayer Gathering
If we could see what actually happens when we pray, we would never stop praying. The first Monday of every month is a time for our church to come together and unite in prayer. We worship in song and powerfully seek God's will through prayer. We pray for each other, our church, community, country, and more. It's our prayer to desire God above all else and seek His wisdom.

Men's Bible Study
Join us for a six-week men’s Bible study beginning February 4 as we walk through A Tale of Three Kings, a powerful study on brokenness, humility, and God’s refining work in the lives of Saul, David, and Absalom. This study invites men to examine how God uses hardship, injustice, and surrender to shape hearts for His kingdom, teaching us what it means to trust God’s hand rather than grasp for control. Come be challenged to embrace Christlike humility and discover how God works most deeply through a broken and yielded life.​

Ladies' Bible Study
Join us for a seven-week Ladies' Bible study through the book of Esther beginning February 4 as we explore how God’s faithful love is at work even when He seems hidden. Esther’s story speaks to living between faith and culture, learning what it means to be salt and light in the world, and trusting that God’s grace reaches us in both courage and weakness. This study will encourage and remind us that God has not forgotten His people and still calls women today to shine for His glory—for such a time as this. Book cost is $15. This study will be led by Rhonda Blevins.
