October 24  I  5:00-10:00 PM
LIVE Clue 2026

A crime has been committed, the suspects are lining up, and it’s up to you to crack the case!
On Saturday, October 24, our student ministry is bringing the classic murder mystery board game Clue to life.

This isn't just a sit-down game night—it’s a massive, fast-paced team competition. You and your squad will have to use wit, speed, and teamwork to eliminate suspects, track down weapons, and pinpoint the exact room where it all went down.

The Night's Schedule

Arrival & Check-In (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

When you arrive, the very first step depends on whether your team signed up in advance:

  • If you pre-registered: Skip the main registration line! Once all four of your teammates have arrived, head to the pre-registered table to pick up your official LIVE Clue Game Packet.

  • If you need to register (or need a team): Head straight to the registration desk. We will get you signed up, pair solo players with an awesome squad, and hand over your Game Packet.

Photos, Pizza, and Strategize

Once your team has your Game Packet, it’s time to prep!

  • Get Your Team Photo: Head to the photo booth to get your official squad photo taken (we have to document those epic costumes!).

  • Fuel Up: Grab your pizza and drinks.

  • Talk Strategy: Hang out, study your packet, and map out your game plan before the clock starts.

Quick Briefing & Kick-Off (6:00 PM)

At 6:00 PM, we will gather for a quick welcome and explain the official game rules. Once the briefing is over, the game officially kicks off and the hunt for clues begins!

Solving the Case (9:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

Your ultimate goal is to fill out your Solution Sheet with the correct suspect, weapon, and room.

  • 9:30 PM | Solution Desk Opens: If your team thinks you’ve cracked the case early, you can start turning in your Solution Sheets at 9:30 PM.

  • 10:00 PM | Game Over: The game officially ends. Any teams who haven't turned in a sheet yet must lock in their final guesses and hand them in immediately.

  • The Waiting Game: Once all sheets are collected, everyone will head back to the main area to hang out, enjoy some giveaways, be encouraged from the Word of God, and wait to see who is crowned the ultimate LIVE Clue Champion!

Costume Contest: Dress to Impress

Half the fun of LIVE Clue is the outfits! We highly encourage all teams to come dressed in a cohesive group costume. The possibilities are truly endless—past years we have seen everything from superheroes (Marvel vs. DC) and classic movie/tv characters (Scooby-Doo, Minions, The Wizard of Oz) to viral pop culture moments (like the Louvre Thieves, Founding Fathers and more!)

The Ground Rules:

We love creativity, but please keep all costumes fun and modest. Absolutely no scary, gory, or inappropriate costumes allowed.

Prizes Up For Grabs
We aren't sending you home empty-handed. Bragging Rights (and prizes) will be awarded for:

- The LIVE Clue Champions (The first team to solve the mystery)
- Best Team Costume (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
- Best Individual Costume (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

Are you ready to solve the mystery? Start gathering your team of four, brainstorm your costume ideas, and we'll see you on October 24!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I play with a team of 3 or a team of 5?
The short answer is ideally, no. The entire game, challenge rotation, and prize packs are designed specifically for teams of four.
However, we never want a student to miss out! If you can't quite hit that magic number of four, here is how you can handle it:

- If you have a team of 3: We highly recommend being open to letting a solo player join your squad to round you out to four. It’s a great way to make a new friend and gives you a full team for the challenges!

- If you have a team of 5: See if you can recruit three more friends to split into two separate teams of four. If that’s not possible, you can stay as a five person team, but just keep in mind that a larger team might face bottlenecks during challenges, and if your team wins, splitting up a 4-person prize pack will be up to you (and will most likely be difficult to do!)

At the end of the day, don't sweat it too much. Just register anyway, and we will make sure everyone gets to play!

What if someone on our team can't make it until 6:00 PM?
We totally get that traffic, practice, or family schedules happen! However, the clock is ticking, and the game will officially start at 6:00 PM, whether your full team is there or not.
If a teammate arrives after 6:00 PM, they can still jump in and join you, but your team will have to start the game without them. Missing the initial rule briefing will only slow your squad down, so do your absolute best to have everyone there before the countdown hits zero!

Is food provided?
Yes! Pizza and drinks are included with your registration and will be available during the check-in hour from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. It’s a great chance to fuel up before the challenges begin.

What kind of challenges will we be doing?
We can't give away the secrets just yet but expect a mix of everything! There will be fun mental puzzles, fast-paced team challenges, and strategy-based games. You won't need any special skills to complete them—just teamwork and a sense of adventure.

Do we have to wear a costume?
No, costumes aren't mandatory to play...but they are a huge part of our LIVE Clue tradition! Plus, with prizes on the line for both individual and team costumes, you definitely won't want to miss out on the fun.

What counts as a "modest and not scary" costume?
Think of fun, creative, and family-friendly! Please avoid anything with excessive gore, horror themes, or costumes excessively small or revealing. If you're unsure, reach out to your youth leader and ask!

What happens at the end of the night?
The mystery wraps up at 10:00 PM, but the night isn't over yet! We will begin collecting final Solution Sheets at 9:30 PM, and the grand prize goes to the very first squad to turn in a perfectly correct guess.

Once the clock hits 10:00 PM and all sheets are turned in, our judges will get to work calculating the game winner and tallying up the votes for the best individual and team costumes. While we crunch the numbers, the party keeps going! We’ll hang out, do some fun giveaways, and share a brief, encouraging message from God's Word.

We will officially crown our winners and dismiss everyone at 10:30 PM.

Can parents or friends come watch?
Unfortunately, not for the whole event because teams will be moving all over the building competing in challenges; we keep the main game area strictly for registered participants and event staff to keep things running smoothly. If parents want to come watch, they can hang out with as until the game starts at 6:00 PM or even come at 10:00 PM when the game will end and we find out who all our winners are!
